Funeral services for Mrs. Nina Thomas Bell will be held Monday, August 30, 2004 at 2 PM at Millbrook Baptist Church Aiken, SC, with Dr. Eddie Leopard and Dr. James Rivers officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 29, 2004 from 5 until 7 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. Mrs. Bell, 82, wife of sixty-six years to Mr. Ervin Bell, died Saturday, morning, August 28, 2004 at Pepperhill Nursing Center, Aiken, SC. Born Rock Hill, SC, a daughter of the late James Harrison and Sarah Jane Gaultney Thomas, she had been a resident of Aiken, SC, since 1955 where she retired as a Bookkeeper from Bell?s Cabinet Shop. She was a former member of Highland Pines Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, organist, and children?s director. She a current member of Millbrook Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, a daughter Joy and her husband Terry Sanderlin, Prosperity, SC and a granddaughter, Amy McFerrin, Aiken, SC, survive. In addition to her parents, a son, Charles Ervin Bell, preceded her in death. The family has asked that memorials in memory of Mrs. Bell be made to Millbrook Baptist Church, c/o the Building Fund, 176 E. Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC 29803
