A Funeral Mass for Mr. Charles Woiczechowski will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 7, 2008 from 6-8 P.M. at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct, Glen Allen, VA, 23060 or the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC, 29210-1790. Mr. Woiczechowski, 88, of Aiken, died Friday, April 4, 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Stanley and Josephine Zalac Woiczechowski. He lived in various cities before moving to Aiken in 2004. He was a member of the American Legion Post 212 and the VFW Post 5877, Aiken. He was also a member Lions Club, Moose Club, Knights of Columbus, and Rotary Club. He was a communicant of St Mary Help of Christian Church. He loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Frances Woiczechowski, three brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his son, Stephen Mary Woiczechowski, Aiken, daughter, Lila Culhane-Erb, Aiken, brother, Stanley Woiczechowski, sister, Martha Michalkewicz, grandchildren, Stacey Kevin Green, Steven Kim Woiczechowski, Christine Tyler Hair, Marianne Woiczechowski, and six great grandchildren.
