David was a very special friend to the Town of Parksville, it's council and Mayor. His legal advice and common sense approach to matters were a valuable asset to us. Mrs Brown and family, We know that Mr. Brown fought a long hard battle as Roger is also fighting his own battle with Multiple Myeloma. We will be leaving for his six months Myeloma check-up in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday. He is doing well and in remission now and has been for some time. He is going into his seventh year as a survivor. You all don't know us but we just wanted you to know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to learn of David's death. He was our defense attorney at State Farm. Dave always treated me with respect and considered my advice as well as providing the same. I have fond memories of some of the cases we worked and enjoyed doing so. I will miss him. My sympathy is extended to you and your family.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Daves passing from this life. I first met Dave in an attorney-client relationship
about 20 years ago. That relationship quickly turned to friendship, I discovered that Dave was one of the most genuinly caring people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
We would talk on the phone maybe once a month or so even if we didn't have a case together, I was always in better spirit after the pleasure of talking to Dave. Dave was the very first one of my friends to call when my Wife passed away. He said simply, "Here are all of my numbers, if there is anything in the world I can possibly do call me at any hour of the day or night."
Please accept my deepest sympathy in your time of geief.
Your Husband and Father was truly a great man and a true friend. What better legacy could a person want to be remembered as ?

Dave Brown was a brilliant trial lawyer and a generous and benevolent employer. It was a pleasure to have been his secretary for several years. Through those years I admired his generosity to the community, his pro bona work with Aiken County Social Services and his genuine concern and efforts on behalf of underprivileged, neglected and abused children. He was a devoted husband and father and I extend my condolences to his loved ones.

Mrs. Brown and Family:
I am so sorry for your loss but think it is so wondeful how you remembered him. I remember like it was yesterday everytime I go home to Aiken and ride by your old home when times were younger and vibrant and there was so much of life ahead of us then. I didn't realize until much later in life how blessed I was to have known such wonderful people as yourselves and I was so pleased to read of your prosperity both personally and professionally. I'm hoping that you remember me your teenage babysitter up on the hill at Ridgecrest Lane as I will remember you in my prayers.

David Brown was a friend I shared lunch with on numberous occassions. A very sharp mind, very knowledgeable about baseball or most any event. Most important he was a friend and fun to be with. God bless David and his family.

I had the honor and privilege of working with David Brown, along with F. Lee Bailey and former Governor John West, in his defense of Dr. Medenica in Hilton Head Island. I just truly admired him so much and thought he did such a wonderful job of preparing the defense in an almost impossible situation, and before an unfit courtroom atmosphere!!! He talked about his family so much during our working together that I feel I know Miss Harriett. My deepest condolences to the entire family. He was so admired by so many.
