Obituary of Chester Conrad Warczyglowa

A Requiem Mass for Mr. Chester Conrad Warczyglowa, will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Friday, May 9, 2014 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. A private interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
Mr. Warczyglowa, 95, a resident of Cumberland Village, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2014.
A son of the late Ignatz and Anna Halupniczak Warczyglowa, he was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and lived in the Briar Creek Community in Clearwater, Florida before moving to Aiken. A WWII US Navy Veteran, he was retired from the Milwaukee School Board. Mr. Warczyglowa was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Warczyglowa and a sister, Helen Mader.
Survivors include a son, Michael Warczyglowa (Jeanne) of Aiken; a daughter, Patricia Perry-Bligh (John) of The Villages, Florida; two grandchildren, Janette Blood and Jay Gilkay (Sarah); four great-grandchildren; Lauren & Natalie Blood, Simon & Bruno Gilkay, and nieces and nephews. The family would like to recognize Marsha and Pat Pennefeather, and children Michelle and Michael for their continued love and support.
