I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of my cousin Ron. He was a man of deep integrity and was a great comfort to my father during Dad's final days. I remember with fondness Ron and Pat's visits over the years as the families enjoyed each other's company. I remember hearing the histories of our respective grandfathers as they settled in the DC area during the mid 1920s. As a kid, I knew Ron as the father of my wonderful crazy cousins Ronny, Lisa, John, Mike, and Steven. As an adult I knew him as quiet and soft-spoken, but always smiling with a quick laugh. My parents always had deep affection for Ron. He was, at the core, an honest and decent man. I express my deep sympathy to Pat and the family. I will always keep Ron in my prayers.
