Mrs. Vivian Dunbar House, 87, of Aiken, SC, died Friday, morning, January 13, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Funeral services will be private. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Arthur E. and Augusta Bielfeldt Dunbar. Mrs. House received her Master?s in Education from the University of Michigan and retired from the Bay City MI public schools where she was and teacher and Assistant Principal for 11 years. She came to Aiken, SC, from Bay City, MI in 1974 and became a member of St. John?s United Methodist Church. Mrs. House was an avid bridge player and golfer prior to her health declining. She was devoted to the community and supported the Council on Aging and Croft House for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jane Flege, Joseph Cincinnati, OH; sons, Harold D. House, Deborah Westhampton Beach, NY and Michael S. House, Manitou Springs, CO; brother, Dr. Howard S. Dunbar, Ponte Vedra, FL; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
