Jerry and family,
Deb and I were shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Toot's passing. Toot's vibrant personality, love of life, and infectious smile will always be in our memories. There are only a few people that come into your life that always bring a smile to your face when thinking about them. Toot's was surely one of them. She will be greatly missed.

Jerry, it was a great shock to hear of Toots death. Bobby Novinger called to tell me. It was such a wonderful evening I shared with you and Toots at our class reunion a couple of years ago, one that reminded me that the people you grew up with are, and will always be, closest to your heart. During our youth I never saw a day that Toots seemed to have a bad day. She always had a way to lift your spirits and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

We share your shock and sorrow at this time. Toots was always bigger than life. She made a great time with everything she did. Her laugh was genuine and contagious.
She deeply loved Jerry and was devoted to his well being. She liked to tell stories from their nearly 45 year romance. She loved her family and was always concerned for their happiness.
Toots leaves a legacy of beautiful memories of trips, events, restaurants, and especially the Steeplechase. Words cannot express the sorrow for her loss but we can thank God for sharing her with us.

Toots was an amazing woman with an impact far beyond her inner circle. We had not seen Toots for many years and only knew her briefly, but fond memories still descend upon us at the most interesting and unexpected moments. If she had this impact on those who had not seen her for so long, what awe inspiring memories must her near and dear have of her.
