Ms. Theresa Yvette LaRose Bessette, 84, of 1306 Forest Hills Drive, Aiken, and formerly of St. Johnsbury, VT, went home to be with God November 10, 2005, after a brief illness. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday November 12, 2005, at 10:00am at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC, and a memorial Mass will be held in St. Johnsbury, VT, at a time and date to be announced. Burial of the ashes will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Johnsbury, VT. Visitation will be tonight from 7-9pm at George?s Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken. Ms. Bessette is survived by a daughter Carol Edward Zuccaro of St. Johnsbury, VT; four sons: Bernard J. Ann Bessette of Aiken, SC; Ronald Sherry of Lewiston, ME; Dennis Bernadette Bessette of West Burke, VT; and Jeffrey Bessette of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren: James Zuccaro, a Catholic seminarian at Mount Saint Mary?s in Emmitsburg, MD; Gina Capt. Wyeth Towle; Andrea Jasen Clutts; Karen Jay Henderson; Joseph Jessica Bessette; and Theresa M. Bessette; Pastor Bryan Hannah Bessette; Penny Josh Young; Nicholas Jennifer Bessette; Shawna Alan Beauregard; Dylan Bessette; Elizabeth, Sarah and Ilia Bessette, and 5 great-grandchildren: Ethan, Noah, Caleb and Tyler Bessette; and Eli Beauregard. She was predeceased by her husband Roger Bessette in July, 2004, and a son, Reginald in 1980. Ms. Bessette was the eldest of 5 children and leaves 2 sisters, Yolande LaRose Bates and Jacqueline LaRose Greenwood, and 2 brothers, Paul and Maurice LaRose, and many nieces and nephews. The family requests that no flowers be sent, but memorial contributions may be made to Hitchcock Hospice, 690 Medical Park Drive, Aiken, SC 29801, or to the Good Shepherd Foundation, P.O.
