Obituary of Hilda Van Pelt Hehle

Aiken, SC - Hilda Maragrite Louise (Kaestner) Van Pelt-Hehle, age 100, passed away peacefully March 13, 2024.
Mrs. Van Pelt-Hehle was born September 19, 1923 in Glendale, Long Island, New York. She was actively involved in a number of organizations in Long Island, NY and moved to Aiken, SC in 2001 where she joined Kiwanis, St. John's United Methodist Church, AARP, and The Aiken Singers.

Survivors include her son, Robert Van Pelt and three grandchildren, Kayce, Jenna, and Aidan Van Pelt.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at George Funeral Home with graveside services following at 1:00 p.m. in Southlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Friends of the Aiken Animal Shelter (FOTAS), 333 Wire Rd, Aiken, SC 29801.
