Obituary of Jan V. Peer

AIKEN, SC - Jan V. Peer, age 79, died March 6, 2024.

Jan was born June 14, 1944, in Klatovy, Czech Republic to the late Josef and Marie Peer. Jan immigrated to the United States in 1968 without knowing anyone or English. He started working as a manual laborer and ended his career as an executive. Jan had made Aiken, SC his home for the past seven years and enjoyed playing golf.

Jan is survived by his beloved wife, Zuzana A. Peer; step-daughter, Katarina (Laci); adopted grandchildren, Sofia, Sara, and Leo; sister, Milena; brother, Joseph; and nephew, Jan.

The Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2024, at St.  Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 138 Fairfield St SE, Aiken, SC 29801.
