Obituary of Howard Edward Gagliano

Howard Edward Gagliano, 77,  passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Charlie Norwood Veteran’s Hospital in Augusta, GA following a brief illness.

Mr. Gagliano was born on April 22, 1946 in Oak Park, IL, a son of the late Vito and Josephine Gagliano. Mr. Gagliano was a retired real estate developer, builder and entrepreneur in the Chicago area. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. 

Howie was an avid car enthusiant. He loved vintage cars from the fifties and sixties all the way up to his beautiful Jaguar, which always looked like it just came off the showroom floor. A music lover, he was a die hard fan of Elvis Presley. He especially liked Elvis' Gospel songs. 

Having two beautiful dogs of his own and a barn full of horses, Howie was a kind-hearted animal lover and a strong advocate and supporter of animal rescue and adoption. He cherished his friendships, cared deeply for others, was generous with his time and resources, and was always willing to lend a hand.

He  is survived by his loving wife, KAren L. Gagliano; a  daughter, Penny Gagliano Ventura of Naples FL and a granddaughter, Kylie Ventura of Naples, FL.

Private memorial services will take place at a later date.
