A Mass of Christian Burial for Genevieve Mary Czyzewski Klos will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at St Margaret Mary?s Church in Rochester, NY. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY. A memorial service in Aiken will be announced in the near future by George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken, SC. Funeral arrangements in NY are under the direction of Burns & Ryan Funeral Home, Rochester, NY. Mrs. Klos, 89, of Aiken, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A daughter of the late Lawrence & Anna Krygier Czyzewski, was born in Rochester, NY. She had lived in Florida from 1969 until moving to Aiken three years ago. She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Church, Aiken, and St. Margaret Mary?s Church in Rochester, NY, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was an avid golfer and had two ?Holes in One? to her credit. While living in Rochester, she had served as a volunteer at Northside Hospital. She was full of life and vitality. Her bright, blue eyes and winning smile brought happiness wherever she went. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Paul Carl Klos, a daughter, Rosemarie Klos and two brothers, Edward & William Czyzewski. Mrs. Klos is survived by two daughters, Joanne O?Connell, Southampton, NY and Paula Poinsett, Aiken, SC, a brother, Walter Czyzewski, DeLand, FL and three grandchildren; Deborah Jahnig, Lake Worth, FL, Katherine O?Connell and John O?Connell, Jr., both of Southampton, NY.
