Mr. Martin C. Sullivan, 80, of Aiken, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. He was born on Dec. 25, 1926 in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late James M. and Mary Moran Sullivan. He moved to Hilton Head Island permanently in 1993 from Massachusetts and New Hampshire. In 2005 he moved to Aiken. Mr. Sullivan was a Navy Air Corps veteran during WW II. He received a Bachelors degree from NY University. Mr. Sullivan spent his early business career in the Marketing Dept. of Hallmark Card Co. Subsequently, he became owner and president of Liberty Tree Card Co. in Danvers, MA until his retirement in 1989. He was a Rotary Club member for over 20 years and a Paul Harris Fellow. He also was a volunteer at Literacy of the Low Country. He is survived by his wife Vicki Stacio Sullivan, his two daughters, Cynthia Taurasi of Wakefield, MA and her husband Jay Taurasi, Susan Sullivan of Rochester, NY and her husband John D'Aurizio, grandsons, James Taurasi, Christopher Taurasi, Benjamin D?Aurizio, and Max D?Aurizio . Funeral services will be private. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center is assisting the family.
