Bridgette "Gidget" Michelle Carr entered into rest June 4, 2008 at the Medical College of GA. Bridgette was a native of Aiken. She was a very caring and giving person which was demonstrated throughout her life right up until the end by her willingness to be a organ donor. Her beautiful eyes where donated to MCG which will benefit at least 4 people. Bridgette was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Carr and grandparents, Medwell and Carolyn Hill and Vernon Carr. Survivors include her mother, Theresa Hill Carr, one brother, Kevin Floyd Carr and his wife Vonnie, one sister, Margaret Therese Carr, all from Aiken and a grandmother, Kate E. Carr from Elizabethton, TN. Bridgette is also survived by a niece, Sierra Yvonne Carr a nephew, Dalton Floyd Carr and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial services will be held at Still Waters Chapel, 349 Chime Bell Church Rd, on Saturday June 7, 2008 at 10am. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken. The family will receive friends on Friday June 6, 2008 from 7 - 9pm at the home of her mother. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia SC 29210. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW is assisting the family.
