A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Mary Ann Swing will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 11am at South Aiken Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. John Frye officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the Family Life Center at the church. Interment will be private. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken is assisting the family. Mrs. Swing, of Aiken, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Clamp Heller. Mrs. Swing moved to Aiken forty-five years ago from the Upstate SC area. She was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church. She ran The Tea Cup catering business with her husband for twenty years. She also retired after twenty-five years of service as the kindergarten director and kindergarten teacher at the church. She took pride in her family and the children in the kindergarten. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, David Heller. She is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Jerry Swing; sons, Jeff Beth Swing of Greensboro, NC, Kyle Sissy Swing, of Greenville, SC, and Sidney Swing of Aiken; her sister, Emily Webb, Jackson, SC, and five grandchildren.
