Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth R. McKnight will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at 2 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Aiken, SC, with Pastor John E. Wertz officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 12, 2003 from 10 AM until 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Mr. McKnight, 66, of Couchton, SC, husband of Mrs. Alma-Ann Miller McKnight, died suddenly, Thursday, night February 6, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Queens, NY, a son of late Fred McKnight and the late Helen Ellis McKnight, he had lived in Warwick, NY, for twenty-five years where he retired after twenty-four years of service as an Inspector with the Public Service Commission of New York. He and his wife, Alma-Ann, relocated to Couchton, SC, five years ago and became members of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Aiken, SC. Mr. McKnight was a member of the Aiken Masonic Lodge. In addition to his wife of forty-two years, Alma-Ann McKnight, son, Dennis and his wife Pamela McKnight, Augusta, GA; brother, Warren McKnight, Long Island, NY; sister, Patricia Dooley, Long Island, NY; and grandchildren, Christina and Michael McKnight and Felicia and Dylan Bomhard, survive. Tragically, a daughter, Kathy Ann Bomhard, preceded him in death in 1999. The family has requested that memorials in memory of Mr. McKnight be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
