Mrs. Newman, 81, of North Augusta, SC, wife of the late Charles Newman, Jr., died Saturday, morning, October 26, 2002 at National Health Care, North Augusta, SC. Born in Paulding County, GA, daughter of the late Bennett Babb and the late Lila McClung Babb, she was a housewife and made her home in Jackson, SC in 1955, where she remained until 2001.
