There are so many memories from high school on but probably the best is when we all ended up in the middle of nowhere to watch the solar eclipse. There was nothing super special about the moment just 4 friends and a dog hanging out in the middle of nowhere catching up and talking about random things. But in that moment we were all enjoying each other's company sharing a once in a lifetime event. We smiled, we laughed, we watched totality happen and we watched as the sun re-emerged. It was a simply carefree day that will live forever as one of the best days of my life. I am so glad you were a part of it. I will miss you my friend.

Carl was my best friend. We interacted daily for nearly a decade. He always just brought such a sense of goodwill and happiness to my days. We are so glad we got to visit Aiken in late December and hang out with Carl.
Carlz0r was a pillar of the independent gaming community, and there is now a giant hole in my world, and many others. His exuberance for the entire community and scene lit a fire in me that I carry on, and never forget. I'm devastated for losing Carl in my life, but so grateful for the time we had.
