Knew Don only in my retirement, but he certainly changed my retirement with hunting and fishing . Don was Don, but enjoyed knowing him. --Skinner

Much of what I could say has and will continue to be said by others: Don was a really good person, treated everyone with respect, generous, kind, a terrific leader and boss. Don along with Lynn raised a wonderful family. All true.
On a personal level, Don was my friend for 46 years. A long time for a friendship tp last, but with Don it was easy. He was a mentor to me as well.(And many others as well). I learned about generosity, true friendship, loyalty and much about business from him.
I was fortunate to see Don a few weeks before he passed. He was at his new digs in a fish camp on Lake Kissimmee in central Florida. Of course he was joined by his beloved dog Duke and was as happy as could be.
He was the same man I met 46 years ago.( Maybe a little grumpier.) I will miss him.

Strong in stature, yet gentle at heart is my best attempt to describe Mr. Gresh. No one was too big or too small in his eyes, treated everyone equally. Many wonderful traits to be honored and followed by all who knew him - not only Don, but his lovely wife, Lynn. They both set examples for everyone to follow. They were two very special people that I had the honor and pleasure of knowing and now remembering. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the great loss you are experiencing.

Don has been a close cherished friend for many years. Outside of my immediate family, there is no one with which I have spent more quality time.

Deepest sympathy to Don's family. A nice person who cared about others. Always a good word spoken from him.
All the employees at Hubbell in Bridgeport always respected him for his leadership and congeniality.
He will be missed.

Worked and knew Mr. Gresh and family for many years. Mr Gresh was a fine man and a great leader here at Hubbell Lighting. Didn't matter if you were the janitor or a VP, treated everyone the same. You will be missed Mr Gresh.
Sorry for your loss.
