As Gladys laid her head down to rest on May 22, 2022, God touched her on her shoulder and said "Gladys, Come on Home. Walt has been waiting for you." They lived a lovely life together and now they are together again.

Shu, so sorry for your loss. God bless your mom. 100 years young. I only know you but can see from the beautiful tribute memory video that she was a wonderful fun-loving woman, and she raised a wonderful fun-loving gentleman. May she rest in peace and live in the hearts of her loved ones forever.

Dear Schumacher Family....On behalf of the Rosbach family, I send our deepest sympathies in the loss of your Mom. Your tribute video was beautiful and so captured the joy and zest for life that I always experienced when around your Mom. I am so sorry that I was not able to attend services for her but she and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Our mothers, as well as our parents, were long time friends. Our Mom loved being around yours and enjoyed -as she would say- your Mom's uptown, New York vibe! The St. Mary's and Aiken community have lost yet another shining light from the greatest generation. Gladys was such a special lady that will live forever in our hearts and minds. God called her home to be with Walter but He left us with videos and picture of her 100 years of her happy and glorious life. We will always remember that she enjoyed life to the fullest with Walter and her family. We truly felt Blest to have been honored to have known Gladys.
