Obituary of Dorothy Mary Brockman

AIKEN, SC – Dorothy Mary Brockman, age 92, entered into rest Tuesday, January 4, 2022, following an extended illness.

Ms. Brockman was born October 26, 1929 in Chicago, IL to the late Edward Brockman Sr. and the late Mary McKinney Brockman. She had made Aiken, SC her home for the past twenty-two years and was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Ms. Brockman will be remembered by her family as a good sister, sister-in-law, and aunt.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Brockman was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Brockman Jr.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Delphine Brockman;two nephews, Keith Brockman (Kathie) and Daryl Brockman (Christina); 5 grand nieces and nephews, Alex, Taylor, Maddie, Cate and Jack.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fairfield St. Final Prayers and Commendation will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends following the service at Mother Theresa Hall adjacent to the columbarium.
