Obituary of Patricia Bonnett Matlock

Patricia Bonnett Matlock, age 74, entered into rest at her home September 20,2021. 

Pat was born in Aiken, SC on February 12, 1948 to the late Albert Bonnett and the late Bernice Pennington Bonnett. Pat worked for Southern Bell phone company for several years before beginning her career at SRS where she retired from medical records. In her retirement she enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and became and avid bird watcher. Hummingbirds were among her many favorites.

Pat is survived by her husband, Bill Matlock; her daughter, Brenna Gilliard (Greg); and three grandchildren, Keeley Shelby, Bryson Gilliard and Ty Gilliard.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801. A graveside servie will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 2648 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC.
