Obituary of Bruce Charles Winkelman

Bruce Charles Winkelman, age 77, entered into rest at the Agape Hospice House in Lexington, SC on August 29, 2021.

Bruce was born May 30, 1944, in Greece, NY to the late Bob and Arlene Winkelman. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Winkelman.

He graduated from SUNY Empire State College with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bruce worked at Eastman Kodak for 25 years, then became a Sales Engineer Rep for Lieble & Merle.

Bruce was a trumpet soloist for many years with the Gray Knights and Crusaders, and also served as a Lieutenant in the Barnard Fire Company, serving as a Fire Fighter and a Paramedic.

He enjoyed woodworking and the game of golf.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marjorie Winkelman; his sons, Bryan Winkelman (Monika) of Webster, NY, and Scott Winkelman of Holley, NY; granddaughter Tiffany Winkelman of Buffalo, NY; sister-in-law Karen Winkelman; and other members of the family.

Services will be held at on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY.
