. Funeral services for Ethel Pecola Houser Salisbury will be held Friday, December 27, 2002 at 2pm at the chapel of Cunningham Memorial Park Mausoleum in St. Albans, WV. Visitation will be at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home 110 B. St. St. Albans on Thursday from 6-8pm. Mrs. Salisbury, 84, of Aiken, died Monday at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. The daughter of Hayes and Mary Baier Houser, she was born in Knickerbocker, WV and had lived in Nitro, WV, where she had been a self-employed upholsterer, before moving to Aiken 5 years ago. She was a former member of the lady?s auxiliary of the Nitro Moose Lodge. In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by two husbands, Robert B. McCormick, Sr. and Francis E. Salisbury, siblings: George Houser, Everett Houser and Virginia Holstine and step children James Joseph McCormick and Robert Bruce McCormick, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Mary Spainhour, Aiken, SC, stepsons; James Salisbury, Huntley, IL and Robert Salisbury, Charleston, WV, stepdaughters Jane Messinger, Bridgeton, VA and Beverly Wilharm, Mt. Crawford, VA. Mrs. Salisbury is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren. Memorial donations should be directed to the American Heart Association.
