I wish I could be there for both of you, Rose & Mike. I know Ray would be thrilled that I am flying to Vermont on July 11 to prepare for my daughter\'s baby shower on Saturday, my first grandchild, and Mike\'s also. Another great niece or nephew for Ray & Rose. I\'ve been to the ocean each day since Ray\'s passing and have spoken to him on each occassion. I feel his peace there, and know he is with his sisters and parents.
Whenever I hear the Everly Brothers, I have always think of my Uncle Ray. I guess he always had them playing in his bedroom on Wellesley Park in Dorchester when we were growing up. And I am so greatful that we had become such great penpals over the years, sharing our experience, strength and hope with each other. I\'ll always cherish his letters and his memory.
I love you both, and mine and Mike\'s prayers and thoughts are with you. And you both must come to the beach to celebrate Ray\'s life with us.
