We were very sorry to hear the news about Mr. Brooks. No matter how busy he was, he always took time to see how things were going and how David and I were doing. He cared about the people who worked for him. These days most people don't take the time to thank the people around them and he did. He will be greatly missed.
If there is anything we can do please don't hesitate to call. Mrs. Brooks you and your famiy will be in our prayers.

Dear Deborah & Piper,
We share your grief today. Patrick was a wonderful, generous man; we in Aiken were blessed to have him in our city. The pain is sharp now, but take comfort in the fact that Patrick is in a wonderful place right now; even though he isn\'t here physically, he will always remain with us in our thoughts and our hearts. For us, we both lost our own fathers over 30 years ago, yet they have remained alive with us every day in our hearts & minds, and we still feel their prescence with us. You will also. Piper, even though it has been "many" years since you played basketball for us, you are still one of our "girls" and always will be. WE have grown up in to a beautiful & special woman, adn we know how proud your father was of you and will continue to be as he watches down on you and your sister from above. Please accept our love and prayers for the entire family.
Love,
John & Linda Kolmar

Dear Brooks Family,
I feel truly blessed to have known Mr. Brooks. Whether is was a big hug or a smile, I always knew that he was happy to see me and nothing I saw as life shattering was so bad that a smile couldn?t change it. The Brooks household is like a second home to me and my support and prayers are easily given now in your time of need.
Hilary, I?m here if you need anything. I love you sweetie.

Deborah,
We\'ve lost touch since Rachel and I divorced. But Hank Elder has been keeping me up to date on Patrick\'s progress. I know he fought hard and was sorry to hear Hank\'s reports that he was losing the fight.
What I remember fondly about both of you is how welcome you made me feel whenever I visited. Patrick and you were always smiling and genuinely interested in every guest. You have a wonderful talent for putting people at ease. Keep it up!
