Esther Hay became my adopted Grandmother when I was 7 yrs old and lost my birth granmother. If you look up Grandmother in the dictionary, you will probably find a picture of her. She was everything you imagine your grandmother to be and more. I will always remember her laugh, playing board games til late at night, her fabulous cooking and her witty sense of humor. When she left us last week for heaven, she took a piece of my heart with her. I will miss you Grandma Hay with all my heart, there will never be another you! Love, Marcile

Our second Mom, adopted by love. Deep sympathy to the children and grandchildren.
Fondest memories are "an open home, an open heart, and good food" await you at her house.
She had the gift of hospitality among others.

Your mother was a special woman. I remember the days at Town Creek like they were yesterday. Can also remember sitting for Aunt Jennie before I moved my letter to Town Creek. I will always hold your mother, father and Aunt Jennie close to my heart.
