Aiken, SC-A memorial gathering for Mr. Ronald W. Ericson will be held Monday, September 9, 2002 from 6-8 PM at George Funeral Home, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. A private interment service will be held at a later date in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC. Mr. Ericson, 74, of Aiken, SC, husband of Mrs. Jeanette Freid Ericson, died Friday, morning, September 6, 2002 at Select Specialty Hospital, Augusta, GA. Born in Minneapolis, MN, a son of the late Lester W. Ericson and the late Wilma Wright Ericson, he relocated to Aiken, SC in 1995. Mr. Ericson, a former Inspector, retired from DeBourgh Manufacturing in MN, after thirty-five years of service. During World War II, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy, was of the Methodist faith and was a lifetime member of VFW In addition to his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Ericson, a son, Skyler, and his wife Marilyn Ericson, Aiken, SC; brothers, Gerald Ericson, Yuma, AZ, Dennis Ericson, Desert Hot Springs, CA, and Douglas Ericson, FL; and granddaughter, Charlotte Noel Ericson, Aiken, SC, survives Mr. Ericson. At the request of the family, please make memorials in memory of Mr. Ericson to the charity or organization of choice.
