Born in Tupelo, MS a daughter the late Shelby Topp and the late Alice McCommon Topp, she had lived in Aiken, SC, since 1988. She was Catholic and was a homemaker. In addition to her husband, Charles, a brother, James Topp, Tampa, FL; and a sister, Mary Jane Greene, Greensboro, NC, survives Mrs. McPherson.
