Since Susan told me the other day of Scotty\'s illness, all kinds of wonderful memories have come flooding to mind. Mostly to do with early breakfasts at Gem Lake and then the many holidays we spent together.

Helen and I share your loss and want to extend our most sincere sympathy. Having grown up with Sue Ann, I always felt the Scotten family was like the Randall family- DuPonters in Aiken. While I really didn\'t know Bill, I always thought Sue Ann was one of the nicest girls that I knew in school. And that had to be because of her fine family background. We are so sorry for your loss; if there is anything we can do, please let us know.
From Don Bill and I worked together for years and shared a carpool. We became friends, not just acquantances. He developed valuable programs in the areas in which we both were working. He was a man of talents and I enjoyed some of his post-retirement writings. I am proud to have known him. We sympathize deeply for your loss.
