Sad to here about GREAT UNCLE CLAUDE passing, but he went to a better place with the LORD. My fondest memory of him was back around 1984? Claude and Joan came to Cairo Ga. to visit my Mom Norene Cheek Harper and while there he fixed my mom\'s front screen door and loved doing it. He may be gone from earth but lives forever with memories!!! God Bless you All. Love Chuck and Vickie

Grandaddy, although we lived so far away, we still felt very close. I have many happy childhood memories of swimming in the lake behind your Georgia home and exploring in the woods. I remember my sister Terrie, as a baby, biting into the plastic fruit Grandma kept on the kitchen table. I can still see the tiny teeth marks on the apple! We loved visiting you in Jackson, also. You would always have some type of homemade toy or your famous "hillbilly" wallet to show us! We are all truly blessed to have known you! You were such a kind and gentle man. We will miss you greatly. Tell Grandma we said "Hi"!

He will always be remembered for his framed puzzles. People from the Jackson Church of God, where he attended with his wife, always enjoyed going over just to clean his yard and spend quality time with him.
