A private memorial service for Harvey Dandrew Fox, 86, of West Columbia, will be held at the family residence at a later date. Memorials may be sent to SC-ETV, 1101 George Rogers Blvd., Columbia, SC 29201. Mr. Fox died Wednesday, December 4, 2002. Born in Pelion, he was a son of the late Phonex and Flossie Courtney Fox. He was the owner/operator of Fox Shoe Repair on Taylor St for thirty-five years and had later worked from a shop in his home for another thirty years. Surviving are his wife, Gladys Foster Fox, West Columbia, SC; grandsons, Everette Sox, West Columbia, SC, Brian Rogers, Greenville, SC, and David Fox, Marietta, GA; great-grandchildren, Spencer Sox, West Columbia, SC, Jack and Matthew Rogers, Greenville, SC. Mr. Fox was predeceased by son, H. Dandrew ''Danny'' Fox, Jr.; daughter, Julia Eileen Rogers; and brothers, Leroy, Trudell, Harold, Grover, Marion, and Jimmy Fox.
