Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Mary Vitetta Wipf will be celebrated Friday, January 3, 2003 at 10 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC, with Father Gade Show Reddy celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 2, 2002 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Wipf, 89, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late William ?Bill? Wipf, died Wednesday, morning, January 1, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Queens County, NY, a daughter of the late Joseph Vitetta and Concetta Scali Vitetta, she had lived on Long Island, NY, where she retired from AT& T as a Telephone Operator after thirty-eight years of service and had been a resident of Aiken, SC, for the past twenty-five years, where she had formerly been a Pink Lady at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A devout Catholic, she was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC. A brother, Albert ?Al? Marino, and his wife, Betty, Aiken, SC; sister, Helen Mattioli, North Augusta, SC; niece, Beatrice Hart, Aiken, SC; and two great-nieces, survive.
